Held every fall, our formal event provides a time for residents to get dressed up and enjoy a night of dancing in Danke ballroom with fellow residents and dates.
Casino Night
No better way to start the spring semester than with our signature dorm event! Students from across campus join for a night of cards, raffles and mocktails in early January. No gambling expertise required!
The Wedding
Started in 2023, McGlinn and a male dorm will join to celebrate the love between their dorms in a faux "wedding" to raise money for St. Adalbert's. The shamrock with the most money donated in their name gets to represent the dorm as the bride!
SYR
One of the most beloved ND traditions, the acronym was once commonly known to stand for “Screw Your Roommate” - referencing how residents often blindy set up other resident's dates for this event. With a different theme each year, there is no better way to cap off the school year than this dance!
Service Events
As much fun as we have in the dorm, it is important for us to get involved in the South Bend community as well! Throughout the year, different service days are held so we can volunteer together! Last year, we spent time at the South Bend Food Bank, Cultivate, and St. Adalbert's.
